Jennifer
High school Chemistry and college General Chemistry Tutor
I understand that chemistry can be challenging and it is difficult to succeed in this field. However, it is the fear of chemistry that overwhelms a student to the point that he/she does not understand concepts that could be understood. It is the passion to overcome this fear that inspires me to teach. With an MS, it is evident I am hard-working and understand the material. Jennifer is an excellent tutor. I took a 5 week intense summer session for college chemistry 1 and with out her I would have failed. The course was fast paced, and the teacher unorganised and confusing. I hadn't taken a chemistry course since high school, which was ten years ago, and was completely over whelmed. Jennifer not only helped me review the basics, but was able to explain the new material in a way I could understand, process and apply. Even with the fast pace, I was able to manage and then excel in the course. I went from an F to a B+! She was also very easy to reach and accommodating with session scheduling.

I needed to meet last minute to review before my chemistry test and Jennifer was very accommodating. She met with me to go over some practice questions and outlined the problems so they were easy to understand. Definitely recommend.

She's very patient and will keep on explaining the question until you understand how to get it. She is also very nice and teaches new methods to do a question which is often better than the way some professors teach. Don't be afraid to ask her any questions you have in mind on the topic even if you think it seems like a nonsense question. I suggest that anyone who is having trouble in chemistry should go to her.

This tutor made a very difficult topic easy to understand. She helped me to learn problem solving methods that were much easier and less complicated than the lecture professor had presented in class. She deserves an A+ for her teaching methods and knowledge of chemistry!
